Prince Naser bin Abdul-Aziz was born in Riyadh 1331H – 1911D and grew in his father patronage and received his early knowledge in the school of the palace. He learned the holy Quran and the prophet sayings, mastered horsemanship, and was trained on war techniques. In 1356H, his father king Abdul-Aziz – may Allah rest his soul – appointed him as prince of Riyadh region to be the first prince from Aal Saud family after sheikh Muhammad bin Zaid. Since his highness assumed Riyadh principality, he worked on considering all aspects of this lofty place to serve the kingdom interests and contribute to the community service. His highness had many choices including the comprehensive organization and highlighting the principality role. According to these lines, the principality drew on the country pages civilized landmarks. In order to highlight the principality role, prince Naser worked on supporting the principality march by appointing people with scientific efficiencies according to comprehensive plans concerned with the community rights and spiritual balance and maintaining their dignity. He showed excellence in the administrative work as he developed the traditional methods used in management. He remained Riyadh prince till 1365H when he submitted his resignation after he had left apparent impress on the principality history which is part of the kingdom history. He had strong personality and was able to spread security in this city and its surroundings and to throw fear and horror in the irresponsible people hearts. His highness also obtained the first class of king Abdul-Aziz ribbon which is considered the highest ribbon in kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In 1404H – 1984D and definitely in the 19th day of Dhu-al-Hijjah 1404H, his highness moved to the hereafter. He was buried in Riyadh after he had left significant influence and shining imprint on the history pages – Allah’s mercy is extensive.
