Main Aim
These Governorates are located in the cities and villages that are related administratively to the region and they represent the Emirate in solving all the region's issues.
Duties
- Handle criminal cases, public and private rights and execute orders
- Maintain internal security, report accidents and natural disasters and enforce security
- Solve obstacles resulting from arguments, and receive inhabitants' complaints to submit them to the concerned authorities
- Handle tribal disagreements regarding agricultural property and organise Al-Badeya markets
- Transfer opponents to Legal Courts
- Submit suggestions and recommendations to develop the Governorate
- Assist the concerned authorities in monitoring projects in the region and report any delay in execution
- Monitor criminal investigation and arrest fugitives in the region
- Submit periodic report to the Region's Prince regarding the Governorate activities and required services

The first Governorate in the Kingdom.Al-Deri'yya borders Hraymla on the north, Dharma and Riyadh on the south, Riyadh on the east and Hraymla and Dharma on the west.
